Welcome to the Martinerhof ... ... the entrance hall: At the east wall, the founder couple Anna and Hans Rettenbacher is painted in oil and welcomes you. The surrounding paintings show landscapes in watercolours by Manfred Rettenbacher (son, cook, artist and musician).
Nostalgia and tradition... The whole house is a melting-pot of tradition and arts. Selected pictures and pieces of furniture show authentic traditions, solid citizens, and natue still untouched - and awake a feeling as if the good old days have lingered on.
In the Restaurants - "Zirbenstube", "Kaminzimmer", Garden-Lounge (non-smoking areas): Paintings with fruit and paintings behind glass.
Handicraft and flowers all around: Flower bouquets, ceramics, crystals, sculptures. "Holy Catherine" and "Holy Peter and Paul" (woodcarvings) guard the house and its guests. These spacious rooms make live easy - bright, elegant and cosy with open fireplace, tiled stove and massive wooden furniture.
The wintergarden combines beauty and good taste: the pastel colours of ceilings and curtains create a friendly atmosphere. Perfect for a tea- or coffee break with homemade cake and tarts or a nice glass of wine while playing cards...
Have fun and get together - the bar is open all day long and offers all kinds of refreshments - and of course numerous non-alcoholic drinks. During summer, the terrace invites to have a rest!
From the ground-floor via elevator, you reach the bedrooms and suites...
